blog on hiatus

Just so no one calls the police, I am letting you know that I will be going off into the jungle to volunteer at a wildlife animal refuge center so that I can play with big cats. I won't have internet, electricity, hot showers or filtered water for awhile. My cell phone probably won't work either. I leave tonight on another overnight bus that I am not thrilled about. Hopefully, after some 17 hours and 3 different buses, I will arrive at Parque Ambue Ari near Asuncion de Guarayos. I hadn't planned to go to this remote park, but to another one closer, but 2 friends who have gone before convinced me otherwise. Here's the website. intiwarayassi.org
